Y by designer Yves Saint Laurent is a true classic for everyday daytime wear that dates back to 1964. Since then, women have enjoyed its light floral flagrance with sweet honeysuckle and rose rising to the top notes as touches of oakmoss lend it a woody, sharp and slightly sweet body. Another highlight true to the decade of its birth is the scent of patchouli, which adds an infusion of East Asian incense to the bouquet.

Y by Yves St. Laurent has been my signature perfume for 40 years. I remember a man asking me, What is the name of your perfume." I said, "Y." He seemed startled and then quickly said, "I just really love the way it smells." I smiled at the misunderstanding. "It's Y. The letter Y, really pronounced E, is the name of the perfume. By Yves St. Laurent." He was soon off to buy a bottle for his wife.

I love Y. It has a nice, but not overpowering scent. You can wear it anywhere. It was given to me by my husband years ago and thought they had discontinued it. I was pleasantly surprised to find it again. I will be using it and enjoying it again!

Y is one of the most glorious perfume fragrances I have ever used. It has a fresh but alluring fragrance to it. I have used this fragrance for many many years and still love to wear it

I have worn Y since 1968 as a gift from my first true love (and have worn it ever since). It lasts a long time (original perfume). I've also bought the spray. It's good to know when I need to replace it this website is the place to come.

Review of Y
Like many reviewers I to have used this fragrance for many years. I first purchased it while working with BFES in Germany in 1972 and have used it ever since. I was concerned when it was no longer available in High Street and then began to go from Perfume outlets. However I was delighted to find it online a few years ago. I hardly ever use any other and at 68 hope it will continue to be available, I do notlike to contemplate being without it.
