My ex mother-in-law (who I am still close to) bought me my first bottle in my early twenties, I am now 48 and still wearing it. I love it as does my husband and for that matter all that smell me :)

What can I say .. I have been wearing this perfume since I was 16, now 51 wearing it every day. Not a day goes by that someone doesn't compliment on it. I feel naked without my Shalimar. It is sensual, romantic, yet light enough to wear at work.

My Grandmother lived to 100 yrs. of age and was really good and loved her Shalimar. When I wear it I always think of her. She bought it whenit first came out in the stores. She was always excited when I bought her Shalimar.

Review of Shalimar
This perfume literally will stop people in their tracks. Younger ones have stopped for 40 yrs to ask me, "What IS that you are wearing?"...and older gentlemen suavely seasoned? One just winked and said ,"Shalimar." I nodded. I have tried to switch--the closest newer (1995) one to this is Hanae Mori (butterfly) but that scent lasts less than an hour. I am back to my Shalimar...and what the past reviewer Barbara wrote about your children remembering you by this scent? O, so true--
