This scent brings back memories of the 70's and I will forever be a user of this wonderful fragance. You must try it for it is truly undescribable. I'm so glad I found it again - thanks for you made a Texas woman very happy.

Review of Rive Gauche
Despite its classification, above, as 'flowery' this is not a floral scent - it's a chypre (i.e. basenotes include moss) so it's not as sweet and girly as 'floral' can suggest. A good perfume to wear to work; impressive but not overtly 'sexy'.

Although it is extremely hard to find it is THE best fragrance in the world & is my signature fragrance. I have been using it since 1974 & will never stop wearing it!!!! I'll stock-pile it if I have to if it goes away.
