I would not describe Riv Gauche as a flowery fragrance; it is a class all its own. More woodsy and spice, earthy but elegant. I'm always 17 again when I wear it.

It is the best fragrance ever--romantic, but difficult to purchase in the US. I loved its heavenly scent from the moment I smelled it on my mother in 1971. Since then, I fell in love with the floral purfume.

Review of Rive Gauche
Rive Gauche I love this perfume, I started using my Mother's when I was 13 and eventually she brought me my own. Second memory of Studio 54, I was asked atleast 2 or 3 times a night what was the name of my perfume. I have introduce many people to Rive Gauche.

Review of Rive Gauche
I used to wear RIVE GAUCHE in the 70's until it was no longer available. I was sad that I couldn't find it. Then with the internet and so many mail order companies it dawned on me that it might still be around somewhere. Was I glad when I found it again. I ordered it immediately and will continue to order it. My boyfriend loves it and I can't get enough of it! I wear it all the time day/evening and I think anyone can wear it. It is a very sexy fragrance and I love the way it makes me feel.
