My first EDT, I bought sometime in 1979, my friend offered it to me and I really liked the smell, after that day it is my signature. I did have a hard time to getting it, but thanks to you my memories comeback to me,I bought the set with body lotion and wow I really enjoy this purchase. Tks again fragrancenet for make it available.

Review of Rive Gauche
It's a very interesting perfume... It's flowery at first, but let it evaporate and you'll discover all different bouquet (more woody, I'd say). Being invented in 1971 it smells surprisingly new. I just discovered it about a year ago (in my late 20s) and among my other classics (like Revillon's Tourbulenses Lancome's Climat, Chanel's Allure and Nino Cerruti's Cerritu 1881). This scent is very distinct and memorable. Old school of quality.

Review of Rive Gauche
I have ordered Rive Gauche many times from you. Read the reviews and couldn't agree more. I've worn this fragrance since I was 18 (mom's). I had my first date with my future husband who had been my high school history teacher so I needed something that didn't scream "teenie-bopper". Rive Gauche was THE classic sexy "man-grabber" scent. My husband and I had only been friends while in school but that summer everything changed. By Dec. of '75 we were married and remained so for 30 yrs. He passed away recently, but everytime I wear Rive Gauche, he's here with me and I'm 18 all over again. And yes, men love it! Thank you for keeping this wonderful friend available for all of us who love it.
