When it first came out I got militantly spritzed w/Pheromone Eau de Parfum in Bloomies. As time wore on so did the perfum...I had to have it...I'd found my signature scent! Later upon entering a holiday party, knowing only one person there, I found myself surrounded by five guys almost instantaneously. My friend was incredulous (me too...I wasn't used to that kind of attention.) I know it was the scent! This scent is NOT FOR EVERYONE... I have had good friends ask me not to wear it when we're getting together ("hate it") More often however, strangers have stopped me asking me what it Is I'm wearing. IMPT. NOTE: If you naturally attract mosquitos wear very cautiously in season....BRUTAL!!!

I must have discovered this perfume right as soon as it came out, in 1980. One department store per city was allowed to carry it. The one here, Charleston, SC, later went out of business and I had to start ordering it. Besides being absolutely the best smell I have ever smelled, the other thing I love is that it comes in everything! Perfume, perfume oil, bath powder, bath soap, shower jell, shampoo, hairspray, lotion that has twinkles of gold in it, deodorant. You can surround yourself in Pheromone. Fabulous for layering. I have a little habit that is fun, every time I go into the master bathroom I put on another layer. I will spray the air with the cologne, next time put the lotion on my arms, all day.I use the twinkle powder on my face, too. Believe me, I am a senior citizen now and my husband can't keep from smelling my hair, this stuff is GREAT!

Pheromone is definitely an unforgettable scent. I am 40 years old and I enjoy clean fresh scents. The reason I ordered this is because of the reviews. All I read were great claiming strange men and women would walk up and ask, "what are you wearing?" To me this smells like a funeral home. It really smells like embalming fluid and bug spray mixed together with a hint of moth balls. I am not close to joking. I will be returning it promptly. I will never purchase items again on reviews only nor will I purchase fragrances without smelling it first. I am very disappointed.

I had never smelled Pheromone perfume before. I looked at all of the reviews and decided I would try it without smelling it first. I mean with people saying strangers would walk up to them and tell them how wonderful they smelled I figured how could I go wrong? My preference when picking perfumes is a very clean scent and I like a hint of floral. I got it and was excited to try it. I nearly vomited, it smells like a combination of embalming fluid, bug spray, and moth balls. I have never smelled anything like this except at a funeral home. I am sickened I wasted so much money and now I am going to have to send it back. This perfume smells so disgustingly dreadful I would not recommend it to anyone period. I am 40 years old and I am a professional, if I wore this into my place of business people would come up and ask what I was wearing because they would think I had been sprayed by the Orkin man. If you like clean fresh dainty scents do not purchase this. If you want to smell like a moth ball or embalming fluid, this perfume is for you. I do not think it smells different on anyone else because I sprayed it on my daughters and it smelled just as horrible on them too. I am saddened because everyone rated this perfume so high. I feel sad because I wanted this perfume to be my scent.
