I am 22 years old and I absolutely LOVE this cologne, it has a "vanillaish" top note that is undermined by spicy ginger scent.. Very unique and not feminine at all!

Opium is in my opinion the best ever, it is timeless spicy =sexy -exiting =plus it lasts, I get lots of compliments when wearing it, I have tried others but always come back to my Opium .

I have worn Opium ever since it first came out. My husband bought it for me in France. I have loved it and every time that I wear it, I am flattered by all that tell me how wonderful it smells on me. I am 80 years old and still wear the same scent - OPIUM. Thank you YSL.

Opium is the best. I used to wear Charlie, which always got favorable comments. Then my husband's client who owned a store wanted to give him a scent for me. He said I wore Charlie & she gave him Opium. Bye, bye Charlie. I've worn Opium ever since. It is strong, so I wear the perfumed moisturizer during the day for its more subtle fragrance. For dressier occasions I also use the perfume spray.

I switched to Opium when Ralph Lauren stopped making Tuxedo about 25 years ago It is the only fragrance that I wear And it smells totally different on me in the summer than in the winter People are always asking me what parfum that I have on, all seasons.
