I have loved and worn Magie Noire for years also..and was devestated when my husband bought me a bottle for Christmas a year ago and found out it was NOT THE SAME !.. Why, oh why did they change it ? Why change something like this to smell completely different and still call it the same name ? I think that is deciving and wrong ! I have checked every fragrance counter and nobody can come close to what this WAS ! It is NOT the same, and I do not like this new scent ! I returned my bottle. I rated this as I percieve this NEW (unimproved) scent they are trying to pass off as the original. and it is NOT the same.

THE BEST fragrance ever! I've been wearing it (loyally and, I might add, exclusively) for 20++ years. It has become my signature and people stop me everywhere I go asking "what is your perfume...it smells great?!"

Review of Magie Noire
I love this scent also. In particular I have searched many places to find the body wash. That was my favorite. Of course, the body lotion is next, but now I have to settle for the perfume which is not quite the same. I love the body lotion. I hope it will not be discontinued. I have tried other fragrances and none compare to Magie Noire.

If anyone has any of the original formula - bottle with black top - or can post where to find it please let us know. I wore this for 20 years and it was my signature as well. I miss it so much!
