This is a very elegant fragrance. The best description I've ever heard was that it "smells expensive". Its is a very classic signature fragrance. Best worn in layers, body wash, over body lotion over spray perfume, over perfume....lasts for hours.

I've been wearing this fragrance since it first hit the market. That is my fragrance and I refuse to wear anything else. My friends call me Ms 1000 (:0) I love it,Love it,Love it.

Patou 1000 ... I was told once that it smelled very clean on me. A great compliment ... my favorite, actually, when one describes my fragrance. It's elegantly clean smelling I would say.

I was first introduced to 1000 in 1984. My husband bought it as a gift for a special occasion. It has been a very long time since I have seen it and had thought they no longer made the scent. I am so glad to know that I can again wear this wonderful frangance
