to rr - Fracas is delightful, but I'd never call it soft or subtle -- more like flamboyant and unabashed. I only wear this on cool winter nights on the town beneath layers of silk and cashmere. You may just be going through some olfactory fatigue -- take a little break from your old favorite and see if that helps. A nice respite fragrance (also floral) might be Anna Sui or Blumarine II -- they won't explode in warm weather like Fracas does.

Review of Fracas
I've worn Fracas for nearly 20 years. However, in the past 2 years, I've found the scent to be barely perceptible. I'm disappointed as this was the only fragrance I truly enjoyed wearing.

Review of Fracas
My world traveling grandmother found this in Paris in the 40's. It was her signature perfume until she died. I tried very hard to find it but is was not sold in the states (or so she was told). When she died she had only one bottle left and it came to me. My Mother did not care for it. I guarded that bottle forever and still have it 38 years later. I use my own now and save hers for the sentiment of it. People stop me routinely to ask what it is. I wouldn't be with out it!
