Didn't know this, but I first bought this in 1966, the 1st year it was on the market. This is my all time favorite since day one, kinda magical for me.

I was introduced to this scent by a business acquaintance the year before i got married. since my last name is Savage I told my wife to be that Christian Dior named it after me. I have been wearing it since. Great stuff.

I've used this fragrance for over 30 years and I am a woman. I've turned all my boyfriends and my two husband's onto this scent. I've loved it from the first moment I smelled it on a gentleman next to me on a plane. From that moment on I was on the hunt! It now graces my husband's selections of fragrances. It is always a turn-on!
