EAU D'HADRIEN - I purchased this scent because I was hoping that it would evoke memories of a romantic vacation spent on Italy's Amalfi Coast summer 2007, where the warm summer air is heavy with lemon and cypress. If Annick Goutal was trying to capture the essence of the Amalfitana, job done! Without question, this scent transports me back to the cliff-top village of Ravello, Italy, perched above the sparkling Mediterranean. It's such a romantic place that Rod Stewart and his new bride were honey-mooning there at the same time we visited. I've never experienced a perfume that could express the sense and scent of place before until Eau D'Hadrien.

i also discovered this scent on a visit to the french riviera in 1995. a 5 star hotel provided hadrien soaps lotion, etc daily. it has been my signatutre scent as well. i get compliments and inquiries frequently.i am 55, yet younger colleagues inquire as well. it is exquisite.

D'Hadrien by Annick Goutal has been a favorite of mine for many years now. This scent can be worn any time, by anyone. If you are looking for a CLEAN fragrance, you've found it! It smells almost like lime. It's just beautiful. You WON'T be disappointed with this one.
