First fell in love with Chanel #5 when a coworker gave me a tiny bottle of the perfume. I was only 19...and the bottle fell off my bathroom shelf and shattered. My bathroom smelled wonderful for MONTHS!! Now it is a staple in my scent wardrobe. Love it!

I have always preferred orientals, but I do wear florals on occasion if they are very special and this one is. It may be expensive, but it only takes a little bit and lasts all day and night. I love Jasmine and this certainly is Jasmine.

Chanel no.5 is an elegant and classic scent... it is exactly what you would expect a perfume to smell like: slightly floral with some oriental notes and a vanilla dry down... I have owned and tried over 200 fragrances so I can stongly say that this is a fragrance that should be a staple in everyone's fragrance wardrobe...even if you don't wear it everyday it's a great scent for a special evening...
