After seeing the movie, "Coco Chanel" I decided to try the fragrance. I love it. A tiny squirt goes a long way, so be careful and don't over due as I did the first time I used it.

Perfumes do not "stay" with me very well, but I must say Chanel #5 is one that I can wear all day at work and still smell a gentle scent when I come home. The inital notes are very strong, however the scent softens within an hour. I love, love, love it!

To the women who say this scent is too "strong" or "overpowering", maybe you should try the Eau De Toilette instead. The scent is timeless, I have grown up with Chanel - first with my Grandmother wearing it, to my mother, to my aunts. I have always loved Chanel, and always will. Classic, Sophisticated, Mind-blowingly Elegent. Bravo.
