I too bought Tom fords black orchid on a review whim. Because I love spicy fragrances I thought I'd splurge and give this a try. It lives up to everything grand. Heady, sensual, and powerful. I wear it to bed every night. I can't sleep without it.

Review of Black Orchid
Tom Ford's Black Orchid is complex and sexy. I love the scent from the bottle, but on my skin the sandalwood and patchouli notes become predominant as it fades. It comes off soft to me but my boyfriend tells me I smell like an old lady. I still like the perfume, I may need a new boyfriend.

Review of Black Orchid
I have the type of skin that I can not wear anything woodsy at all. Other woodsy scents smell horrible on me. This fragrance is soft and the hints of sandalwood actually work with my chemistry. This fragrance is warm and soft yet complex. I LOVE it. I bought it via mail order not knowing what it would smell like on me, I am so glad I gave this scent a chance. Its sexy and wonderful on me. Will be a signature fragrance for me.
