In 1966 I received a bottle of Bal a Versailles as a gift from my future in-laws. I have never worn anything else in 42 years. It is the most beautiful frangrance of any perfume I have ever worn. It is elegant and sexy and goes with every ocassion. I love the bottles it comes in and I adore the fragrance. I hope I can enjoy wearing it for another 42 years.

Review of Bal A Versailles
After reading the reviews I was very excited about trying Bal A Versailles. I was not as happy when I actually tried it. It was entirely too musky for my taste. I have tried it on more than one occasion hoping that I would grow to like it, but no such luck.

Review of Bal A Versailles
Bal A Versailles is what I called a "gentleman catcher" in my 20's. The spicy oriental fragrance is just the right intensity. It evokes an air of mystery, and not a bit "trashy" as some can be. Not for the dining room or office, please. You will love this; I've been wearing it for 35 years!

Review of Bal A Versailles
I wear Bal A Versailles all day and evening because my husband loves it on me. He wants to eat me up when he smells it and its hard to get out the door to go to work. I don't spray it all over me, just behind my ears, my wrists and between my breasts. It mixes with my own smell and as it warms up it smells absolutely luscious. Since I wear my perfume for my husband and myself I don't know what others think of it, I don't get that close. My sons like it and think of it as "my" smell.
