Bal de Versailles Eau de toilette is apparently a different smell to the parfum, however, the eau de toilette is what I would consider a fragrence of 'old.' It reminds me of very elegant yet mature ladies, refined,well dressed and draped in very bold but tasteful gold jewellery. Very different to modern fragrances of today as it can be described as 'heavy.' Great for evening wear or during the day if you want to turn heads.

I've been wearing Bal...for 30 years. I love the subtle, elegant scent and I use it all the time, whether it's casual, office, evening, special. It is just me, and I receive many compliments on its scent.

Review of Bal A Versailles
My husband bought this for me a few years ago, at that time i would wear tabu, or channel and exclamation. One smell of this perfume i fell in love with the scent and this is all i wear now. and my husband thinks the scent is absolutely sexy!!

Review of Bal A Versailles
I am an RN and usually do not wear perfume around my clients, and I have found that Bal a Versailles is the perfect, subtle fragrance to wear and it does not bother my clients. I love spicy fragrances over flowery ones, and this is the BEST perfume I have ever worn. I have been wearing this now for many years, and it is one of my favorites! I have turned my 80 year old mother to it, and she loves it and wears it every day.
