"Promise her anything...but give her Arpege" received this as a gift from the love of my life in 1958...brings back wonderful memories when I wear it..not found for many years..hope it stays on your site....

Review of Arpege
My mother used to wear Arpege, and at 52, I still love it. Does anyone else out there remember the ad, "Promise her anything, but give her Arpege"? Liz Donovan, you are probably remembering the parfum, not the eau de parfum. There is a subtle difference due to the base. I love them both!

Review of Arpege
A girlfiend of mine used to wear Arpege. She's long gone but the fragrance will live with me forever - but not because of the girl. At the hospital I work at a woman got on the elevator wearing Arpege, and it rocked everyone - very sophisticated indeed. Women, take it from me, it is shamelessly evocative and so high- class.

Review of Arpege
Arpege is a timeless classic. I was first recommended it by a colleague in the 1970's and have been wearing ever since (I was in my 20' then) It is hard to find, but I was in Singapore last year and the lovely people in the Lanvin Shop sources me 2 big bottles!
