Dans la Nuit is a crisp floral fragrance for women by the design house of Worth. Launched in 1924, this sensuous fragrance opens with top notes of Lemon, Bergamot, Violet and Green notes. The fragrance opens to a floral heart of notes from Carnation, Rose, Jasmine, Ylang-ylang, Lily-of-the-valley along with Orris root and Cinnamon. The scent comes to a terrific dry down with hints from Vetiver, Tonka Bean, Sandalwood, Amber and Vanilla for a distinct closure.

Absolutely gorgeous. Floral, a little spicy, with a sneaky animalic note floating around in the background. There's something comforting about this, like a fuzzy wool blanket next to a bonfire on a chilly autumn night.
Scentsational
This is a rich and beautiful fragrance. It’s long lasting and has soft silage. It stays close to the skin. Which is my personal preference for fragrances. I prefer a scent to give me wafts of scent when I move my body. I like to be enveloped in soft scent. I don’t care for scents with strong silage. Dans laNuit suits me perfectly.

This is a complex vintage (evening) perfume with maturity and depth. I get a large dose of carnation with this, very true to form for its time. If this was available in a larger bottle I would buy it but the small size for travel and affordable price make it worth purchasing as is. If you do not like vintage scents this may not be for you.
