Customer Reviews

This is a complex vintage (evening) perfume with maturity and depth. I get a large dose of carnation with this, very true to form for its time. If this was available in a larger bottle I would buy it but the small size for travel and affordable price make it worth purchasing as is. If you do not like vintage scents this may not be for you.

I wish I could get this in a larger size. This is fresh cut carnations in a bottle. The fragrance opens slightly aldehydic and lemony but that goes away very quickly. As it develops the best and freshest carnations take over, they are spicy, floral and powdery. In the dry down the perfume becomes sweet vanilla, lingering carnations and musk. This was created in 1924 but to me it is very wearable. I hope it never goes out of production. It is ladylike, soft, and very becoming.
