Disney Perfume

The Walt Disney Company was founded by Walt Disney and his brother Roy in 1923. It was initially called Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio. Disney took animation to a whole new level when Walt introduced his magical cartoon mouse, Mickey, in the animated short film Steamboat Willy in 1928. Disney's cartoon was so successful that the company expanded into full-length feature films in 1934 with the release of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

In 1955, Disneyland opened in Anaheim, Calif., to the delight of adults and children alike. It helped fulfill Walt Disney's dream to build a fantasy land where parents and kids could have fun together. The company expanded to television in 1955 with The Mickey Mouse Club. Disney Film Studios also went on to produce numerous films, including Lady and the Tramp, Sleeping Beauty and Mary Poppins.

Disney World in Florida opened in 1971 and holds the distinction as the world's most visited vacation destination. Since then, Disney has grown to include Disney stores, multiple resorts and is a major producer of top-notch films.

The Disney company currently offers 20 fragrances in its perfume base. They were launched in 2008 with Hannah Montana Secret Star for women. The perfume comes in a bottle with a guitar emblem representing the character from the television program Hannah Montana. As of 2014, its latest release came in 2012 with Bambi Let's Dream.

From that iconic mouse to perfume, Disney is a huge part of popular culture the world over.
