I originally bought this for my husband because I love Design for women. I was definitely not disappointed. It is absolutely wonderful. It made me want to cuddle up to him just so I could get up close and smell. It's not ever-powering like some of the men's cologne that I've smelled, and it lasts a long time. I am not a fan of a lot of the men's cologne that I've smelled in the past, but this is great.

I have worn Design since 1987, I get compliments all the time, I work retail and people write the name down. If your not sure for a gift I believe anyone would like this, it has a clean fresh fragrance. At these prices you can use it after a shower, or every morning, does NOT drive anyone crazy riding in a car. LOVE love love it.

Started wearing it initially when it first came out and found that in putting it on lightly, it was perfect for the office. So many complained about women's colognes, and yet I never had one complaint about being overly heavy with scent. But I did have compliments. It stayed fresh, did not have to layer it, and it wore very well when out dancing over the weekend. Yes, it's being slowly moved out for new scents, but this has been a very well received and worn cologne. At 70, there is still that desire to have my own Design in life.
