Gilles Cantuel Fragrances

Gilles Cantuel, a company based in Paris, began offering fine fragrances in the 1980s, with sophisticated-yet-soft feminine perfumes like Créature (1985).

It also produced masculine fragrances. One popular men’s scent was Arsenal (1996), which was followed by several masculine flankers such Arsenal Black and Arsenal Gold, all packaged in bottles shaped like hand grenades; a feminine version of Arsenal was later released. Flowers (1999) was another best-selling women’s fragrance for Cantuel, and it was complemented by several flankers as well; the Flowers bottles resemble slender lily-like blooms.

Other releases included Imagio (for men and for women), Babylone (for women), and Connect (for men).
