I have worn Tabu since 1976. I have people on a daily basis stop me to ask what I am wearing. I will not wear anything else. It works so well with my chemestry that I do not detect the smell on myself but everyone around me notices and comments. If it is ever taken off the market I hope they will let me know first so I can stock up for the rest of my life.

I love Tabu, I get compliments constantly. I use the shower gel and then a light spray and am set for the day. The shower gel is hard to find so if you are lucky and find some, stock up.

When I was a teenager (late 60's) it was Ambush for the girls and Canoe for the guys. Then while in college, I discovered Tabu and still wear it today. Great compliments, especially from men, including my husband, who keeps me well supplied.

This scent really bothers my nose, as far as I can tell I`m totally allergic to two scents ,Tabu being one of them and the other being Farenheiht for men.I would ONLY reccomend this as a gift if you already know she has worn it before and likes it.

First, I would like to say that even though this perfume had its debut in 1932, it does NOT smell like "old lady," Melba. It takes a special woman to wear Tabu, and Tabu is for special occasions. Tabu, itself, is a celebration of musk, oakmoss, jasmine, and sandalwood, is very strong, and must be applied sparingly. A little goes a long way and it lasts and lasts. When I was first told about Tabu, I thought the spelling would be Taboo...which would have been completely appropriate because a woman wears this fragrance when she wants to create some serious intrigue. If there was ever a perfume made that simulates a mating call, it is not full of pheromones - it is Tabu.

I have worn Tabu as long as I can remember, in fact it is the only scent I wear. It is not overwhelming, Just right for me.

i have been wearing tabu since i was 16 years old and now i am 43 years old and still to this day that a day does not go by without someone asking me what kind of perfume i have on because it no i smell so good. my husband works at the same place i work and if he doesn't see me right when i walk in the door he finds me later saying he knew i was there because he smelled me. isn't that so cool!!!!!!!!!!

my grandmother wore this scent for as long as i can remember - i was born in 1950. so when i started using cologne i used this and always get compliments. i will always wear it - it always keeps me close to my grandmother
