This perfume receives many compliments and "what is it you're wearing" all the time. I have a few gentlemen that want to be near me when I wear it. The fragrance is like no other. I do not smell the patchouli in it-I'm allergic to it. But everything about it is great. It's been 22 years now and it is and will always be my favorite.
Amarige by Givenchy has been MY choice since I first smelled it on a store clerk over 20 years ago ! I am not a big fan of perfumes---some give me headaches, but this is just fantastic. I will never, ever tire of it.
I love this perfume been wearing since it first came out over 22 years just get so many compliments and they reconize me as that smell the smell is very sensual and l always loved gardenias , its why I first read about the perfume on a magazine I had to get it , and I did and been using it ever since! P.S I dont see that on your label below as one of thenoteit carries . Dont have gardenia as one of the flowers Amarige has in it.
Amarige by Givenchy smells exactly like pikake flowers (related to jasmine) from Hawaii, to me. It also smells exactly like a French perfume my folks brought me from their trip to France, but was named something different. I wonder if it is, in fact, the same. This is just an intoxicatingly feminine scent. A mainstay in my collection. It is a warm floral. Not a flowery floral, but a single, amber-y note, not quite in the asian category, but I wanted to check BOTH floral and oriental.
