I still love the Magie Noire I've worn it ever sence it came out. I still love it,only wish they still made the bath powder,and bath jel. I've search every where for the bath powder. My daughter used to put it on everytime she came to my house and I could just follow her around and to smell the fragrance. She would smell so--------rich smelling.

i have worn magie noir ever since i smelled it in paris in 1984. it has become my signature scent. i am a french teacher and the kids (and adults!) recognize me by my smell. they all say "madame is here... we can smell her!" i will never wear anything else-i've tried. c'est magie noir!!

magie noire is a strong scent based on roses with an intense spicy basenote. it is very dark, elegant and mysterious. it is definitely not a "girly" scent as there is some "seriousness" about it. it lasts pretty long on my skin and i love it.

I love this fragrance, perhaps because I have winter fragrances (cold weather) and summer fragrances. I wear stronger scents when the weather is cold, and lighter fragrancs in the spring/summer. I consider Magie Noire to be sensual. Tabu is "old lady".

I HAVE WORN THIS FRAGRANCE FOR YEARS AND I LOVE IT! EVERYONE ASKS ME WHAT THAT SCENT IS THAT I HAVE ON AND WANT TO BUY IT. A LOT OF PEOPLE DO NOT BELIEVE THAT I HAVE TOLD THEM THE CORRECT SCENT BECAUSE THERE IS ONE DIFFERENCE....IT DOES NOT SMELL THE SAME ON EVERYONE! HOWEVER IT IS PERFECT FOR ME. I LOVE THE BODY LOTION BUT I HAVE TROUBLE FINING IT.

I have been "wearing" Magie Noire perfume for better than 25 years. I have bought it many times as gifts for "Classy" women friends and family who use, buy and like "nice" things.

This fragrance is not for the fainthearted or the everyday drugstore
buyer like CVS, Rite-Aid etc. This is to classy an item for them to sell.

Magie Noire has a very different scent that is not easy to find in other perfume, It's very elegant but also so romantic

I have been wearing Magie Noire since it
came out in the 80's..I remember when I started wearing it, someone said"we may not always see her passing by, but I can sure smell her" and she smells very exotic.

Magie Noire is way too old fashioned and overpowering. It is best described as an "old lady" perfume but I expect that even old ladies would find this scent way too strong and offensive.

I too feel in love with magie noire in high school and like to think of it as my signature. This fragrance goes well in the winter/fall seasons, and fun in the evening. A little goes a long way. Enjoy.
