This was my favorite perfume until I discovered Kus Kus (Bourbon French) - the first perfume made in New Orleans in the 1840s. They are kindred spirits - with Kus Kus taking you back into the mystical smells of another century...just divine. Nothing else compares to these two scents.

I have worn Lheur Bleu since I was 14. Sometime around the age of 17, I discovered my grandmother, Vera Christensen Baker, brought with her on visit to our home Lheur Bleu hair spray. First, I didn't know there was a hair spray, but second -- it had been my grandmother's favorite all her life!

l'heure blue, funny, when reading thru the reviews, how many people discovered this when we were young. i was living in las vegas (a recent move) finishing my last year of high school. i met a girl, recently there,. from new york she had this and we both wore it (i shared hers) .so many years ago but even when i do not have it available to me, all the time, the memories of it and those times make me smile. it is worth the quest to find this wonderful fragrance.i hope that will be around forever!!!!for it to have lasted for so many years explains its lasting value.

L'Heuru Bleue is the most wonderful fragrance I have ever smelled. Nothing else smells like it or even comes close to the wonder of this fragrance. I know and llike tons of perfums and have been dedicated to knowing perfums since I was a little girl. It lasts FOREVER though is not particularly strong. It is amazing but the longer you have it on the better it smell. Honestly,Put it on and hours and hours later it will take on new and lovely nuances that will surprise you. What you smell when you first put it on bears little reality to what it will evolve and change too. splurge and buy this........you won;t be sorry.

I"ve worn L'Heure Bleue on and off for years. It has an elegance to it that I like. Also, it is vastly different from most of the fragrances you find today, which to me, are all starting to smell the same. I've heard it described as an "old lady" perfume, but I don't see it that way at all. To me, it's unique and quite lovely.
