Joy by Patou is one of the finest perfumes of my experience, finding that the older haute couture houses made the great, to make men swoon frangrances before the fifties. I will not wear the chemical smelly perfumes of the modern day. Besides everyone wearing "your" scent, none except one (Opium by St. Laurant) has the true elegance, richness and power of something very fine, from the older houses!

JOY eau de toilette is more subtle than the parfum and can be worn any time. It is a classic--none of the woodsy or soapy fragrance of more modern fragrances.

Joy is the best perfume I have ever used. I ran out two years ago before searching on line. It is intense, a drop or two lasts all day.

Joy: A unique multi-layered fragrance that differs for each individual. I find it elegant and sensual and a 'dressy' scent for special occassions. It is also a wonderful mood lifter for the 'blue day'. I spray it on, smile at myself in the mirror and declare "I am worth it!". Every woman should have a bottle at least once in her life.
