I was introduced to the subtle, yet intoxicating 1000 almost twenty years ago in my early 20s. It instantly became my signature perfume and still is today. I am regularly complimented on my fragrance.

This is a very elegant fragrance. The best description I've ever heard was that it "smells expensive". Its is a very classic signature fragrance. Best worn in layers, body wash, over body lotion over spray perfume, over perfume....lasts for hours.

This is a very feminine scent which is not over intoxicating and yet spells of elegance. Unlike most parfums that all seem to have a very similar scent.

A friend of mine told me about this fragrance. I never in a million years would have tried 1000, she sprayed it on my wrist and it stayed with me until I washed it off. I ordered it the next day. I love it. It is one of my 4 favorites.

I was introduced to 1000 yrs ago by a wealthy, elegant woman who gave it as a gift. I have used it for special people or occasions ever since.

Patou 1000 ... I was told once that it smelled very clean on me. A great compliment ... my favorite, actually, when one describes my fragrance. It's elegantly clean smelling I would say.

I was first introduced to 1000 in 1984. My husband bought it as a gift for a special occasion. It has been a very long time since I have seen it and had thought they no longer made the scent. I am so glad to know that I can again wear this wonderful frangance

This perfume is an elegant classic, flowery while slightly androgynous. Hard to peg exactly. A little like Joy by Patou, a little like Chanel No. 19. Not for the Brittany Spears crowd. Not for people who want to smell like fruit or cotton candy.

25 years ago, a jetsetting paramour gifted me with the most gorgeous bottle of 1000 parfum. I fell in love with the fragrance instantly, and since I was young and a student, I used it sparingly since I could not afford to buy another flacon! Over the years I have worn many other wonderful fragrances but nothing surpasses 1000 as an elegant scent. The only other perfume that has attracted as many compliments is Secret of Venus by Parfums Weil (totally different scent)
