An extremely feminine scent. Not" overbearing " like so many others are..! A very subtle yet intense , sensual fragrance, simply the best of all the YSL range of perfums..EVER. Unfortunately extremely hard to find a stockist lately, rumour has it that YSL has discontinued this fragrance..totally inexplicable if so.? .my sole favourite since 2003.. AND of my husbands' ..!

one day while shopping i smelled this beautiful cologne on a clerk. it was rive gauche. i couldn't find it in any store in calgary, alberta so i went on line and finally found it. absolutely my very favorite cologne. will never wear anything else. i am so happy i finally can purchase it. mary ann tame

I have been wearing this fragrance ever since I found the Intense 2 yrs ago. I have been wearing the Rive Gauche for almost 30 years> both scents are Fabulous,constant compliments from perfect strangers. I love the clean fresh smell and will not wear anthing else ever.

I've been wearing this for over 20 years and have searched for it all over the world. I am so glad to have found a source again so I never have to be without it. Some friends tease me for wearing an "old" scent, but I think it's timeless.
