As a man that works in a perfumery, I can honestly say that I love Vetiver. It is perfect for black-tie events but soft enough to be worn as an every-day fragrance. If you wear Prada, Perry Ellis Reserve, or any other soft, clean fragrance you will love this one. I reccomend this cologne be worn to any performance of The Phantom of the Opera.

Guerlain Vetiver is a wonderful fresh and invigorating scent. It opens with a dry citrus blast and mellows to a deep rich, earthy base notes that last all day long. Perfect for the office. It avoids the sweet cloying trap that many metro-sexual modern aquas and orientals fall into. A true classic.

Among all the scents I've ever used, I cherish Vetiver above all others. I am a feminine but strong willed, independant woman, and am allergic to almost all perfumes. Early in the 70's, I began trying my older brother's colognes, Eau Savage, Vetiver, British Tabac, and found them wonderful! I adore Vetiver, wear it very often, and never fail to have men and women ask me the name of the "wonderful scent you're wearing". Thank you, Guerlain!

Just a delight; have loved it for years, and could smell this all the time. Compliments from women. Only drawback - short-lived; could be more intense. I would love to have this in parfume strength, if available.

Since the box says 'pour homme' I am surprised by the comment 'made for a woman'..... This is an addictive men's cologne. Masculine, entrancing, warm, natural of sweet resinous wood.
Not well known. A scent to stand apart from the ubiquitous.
