4711 cannot be compared to any other. I have gotten many other fragrances for my husband and find them overbearing...I always come back to 4711.Variety is not the spice of life, 4711 is.

Started using 4711 in the mid 1960s. One other cologne ever appealed to me - Lagerfeld; but 45 years on, 4711 is still first choice.

I am 66 years old and my father bought me my first bottle of 4711 when I was 11 years old. We lived in Germany at the time and we were on a Rhine River cruise. I have tried many colognes over the years and have never found anything that I love as much as 4711

This fragrance was created for use in treatment of headaches. I always used it when feeling down, or when I had a headache I just had to take a whiff of the scent to soon feel better. That and the fact that I just love its cooness.

4711 Cologne was worn by my Grandmother,
my Mother, by me (80 years old) and now by my children and grandchildren. Always appropriate and wonderfully clean and refreshing. Never causes people to hold their breath because of so many of todays overpowering scents. Instead you see a smile and hear Ah you smell wonderfull like a breath of spring air.

I am strongly allergic to perfumes. The Muehlens 4711 Eau De Cologne is the only fragrance I am not allergic to. I love its citrus base fragrance and we have been using it in my family for three generations.

My husband and I have used 4711 all of our lives, and we are now 'ancient' 79and69. But my husband puts a little on his mustache and it is delightful when he kisses me and he kisses me often.

Got my first bottle of 4711 colonge 2 years ago. This is one of the most refreshing splash-ons ever. Great scent. Most classic cologne in the world. The Rolls Royce of aftershave.
