Waited for the longest time to buy "Fille de Berlin". Bought it for a friend who lives in Berlin, which of course is not the most sophisticated reason to buy a perfume. But I agree with the other reviews here: it is a sophisticated, elegant rose fragrance that makes you feel special. She will love it.

La Fille De Berlin is a gorgeous Fragrance. If you like Rose and Oud type of scents you won't be disappointed. Definitely an evening scent. Very elegant. I would not recommend this perfume for the office or casual day time wear.

Serge Lutens La Fille de Berlin is not overly sweet like some rose based perfumes and has the most divine rose aroma that lasts for several hours then slowly fades to a subtle almost sandalwood fragrance. I wear it every time I go out, whether to shop or lunch and it never overpowers. Truly gorgeous!

A very nice rose scent with a sweet berry tone to it. LFdB is a good rose scent for people just getting into rose perfumes or anyone who is looking for a sweet prominent rose note.
