Oh man! This scent is ABSOLUTELY STUNNINGLY GORGEOUS! Leather Oud is a bit "Medicinal:, but my goodness does the medicinal facet work here! The bright, fresh, airy citrus opening along with that medicinal nuance and the florals is freakin' so so good! The leather smells like authentic, subtle brown leather and I suppose that the Oud is giving this the medicinal facet? Wow! Performance is crazy good too! My monatary cut off for any fragrance is $300, and this price here on FragranceNet is awesome, but Leather Oud is totally worth the actual retail price! After Loriza L. Legrand's - Chypre Mousse, this Leather Oud has been my most impressive purchase in a very long-time and I very much highly recommend it! Also, I strongly suggest that folks dont judge this scent right away, and that they sprayi a bit out and let the bottle "Maturate" for a week or so bc the true beauty of Leather Oud just wasn't there straight out my brand-new bottle, bit my goodness, was thks worth that wait! A 10 outta 10!

Leather Oud will smell a little different on everyone. On my skin the leather is forward and not a synthetic or cloying leather, a sweet leather it reminds me of a Mercedes S500 I had years ago. The oud is there and to my nose smells Cambodian, it's spicy like pepper and slightly medicinal for the first hour. As it goes into the heart you get geranium and some sweetness and smokey darkness. The base is a light amalgam of leather, oud and geranium. Beautifully blended and well executed.

I’ve been a fan of Floris for more than 30 years, and I own more than 20 Floris scents. I can honestly say this is the first one I don’t like. It’s pungent and had a medicinal smell to it. I thought it had gone bad at first because it smelled that awful. Deeply disappointed by this one, but not deterred. Already moving on to another newish one (Wilde or maybe Mulberry Fig)

Much like the Honey Oud from Floris, this is another great gem to add to the collection. A much more masculine version and great for the Winter or cold evenings.
