I've used Biosilk for years to keep my hair shiny, healthy, happy and smelling divine. I do not use heat tools, but, you always need an oil to finish hair so it's always looking shiny & helping with manageability. I'm over coconut oil & have been since it started for other people. By then, I'd been using about a decade. Biosilk is slightly thicker, detangles wet hair, makes hair shine, controls split ends, and the smell is something to bath in I like it so much! At these prices, try it! If it's no good on your hair, it's excellent at softening your skin-esp on your hands.
