A miss for me, sadly. Whatever MA is using for their saffron note lacks realism- I bought this along with By Saffron (another Byredo dupe) and Saffron Exclusif and all were overpowering, approaching screechy. Hardly recognizable as saffron scents. The Artist no 2 was the only winner of the bunch, salvaged by a lovely raspberry note. This one might smell nicer on a man if he sprays *very* conservatively.

This is such a beautiful, soft, leather and plum scent. It's perfect for a sunny day on a chill, sunny Fall day. I'm wearing it now a"nd I cannot stop sniffing my wrist. This is a beautiful leather scent that doesn't scream "Leather!" Very mysterious and comforting.
