Thank you for bringing Joy back into my life. And at such a reasonable price. I started wearing it in my late teens when it was more expensive than gold. I rationed the bottles as much as possible and then Joy by Jean Patou just disappeared. I kept an empty bottle for years to savor its glorious, but diminishing rose and floral signature scent. I am nearly 80 years old and that last bottle is long gone so I am thrilled it is now available. It lasts and lasts. I wear it in the evenings as there are so many scent-free places now. The newer perfumes have such a horrid chemical smell that I don’t wear them at all. Joy is like an heirloom perfume that never gets old and after all these years, its scent doesn’t degrade on my skin. I read that keeping perfume in the fridge helps to keep it longer. I’m on my way to the kitchen now to see how that works.

Not impressed for a first timer, for myself. Found scent to be heavy and gave me a headache. Even gave to my mother for use,she too found it heavy.

Joy reminds me very much of wearing a fresh rose and pikake (jasmine) Lei. It's very pretty! It's drying down to a clean, soapy-fresh, silky finish that I find quite appealing. I want to try layering Joy and Sublime soon.
