As to whether or not it smells like BR 540I cannot tell you. I have about 10 samples of various wannabes and most of them have the horrible smell of burning rubber to me and this is no different. It may be less strong, but still unpleasant. Perhaps it is just something about my olfactory sense that doesn’t appreciate this. Oh well now I have 4 ounces of it. But at least now I know I have no interest in BR 540.

It is close to baccarat, but still different on its own. The scent trail is AMAZING. Buttery, vanilla, ambroxan bomb. It’s also my favorite scent to layer with. Scent lasts 8+ hours.
