The performance of 40 Knots is exceptional; very long-lasting. However, the scent itself is polarizing. I get none of the fresh, marine, salty, citrus scents that people talk about. To me, it's pure baby powder with nothing else. If you want to smell like a nursery for 16 hours, this is the scent for you. It's not offensive, it's just very much baby powder.

40 Knots is a unique, fantastic fragrance. This perfume is addictive. I’m obsessed with it! I gave samples of mine to friends and they also purchased this. It’s a fresh scent that protects and lasts all day.

I didn't like it at first, but after wearing it a few times I really started to enjoy it. I get some like cinnamon spice, woody, sweet kind of smells mixed with some minty menthol that adds some nice freshness. Has some good longevity also, definitely worth it
