For Vanille Exquise
I bought this perfume while living in France over the summer. I was in Paris for a few days, and I really wanted to get a true French perfume that is hard to find in North America. What I wasn't expecting was to find a fragrance that I love so much, it has pushed aside all of my other perfumes (there are many) and has become my signature. Normally I don't like vanilla in fragrances because it tends to become so sickly sweet and chemical-smelling. But this vanilla is beautiful, soft, natural, and I can inhale it without feeling nauseous. It also doesn't cling to the skin like an annoying sibling. Truly worth the money.

Annick Goutal Vanille Exquise is my all time favourite scent. I love vanilla but most perfumes have a sickly sweet saccharine, almost cloying quality when vanilla is in the name. This fragrance lasts for ages, seems to get better with skin warmth and has an earthy, woody tone to it without being masculine or too powerful. It reminds me of the smell of real vanilla pods and I like how it mimics smells from nature without the chemical-like impression a lot of other perfumes have.

Her fragrances are unique and my personal favorite is Vanille Exquise. I love the subtle scent of vanilla with a touch of patchouli, with the emphasis of a slight touch of Patchouli. Very sexy.
