Masculinity meets elegance in this oriental woody evening scent by Lanvin. Avant Garde, launched in 2011, combines top notes of Italian bergamot, spicy Madagascar pepper, and floral juniper with a base of tobacco to create a fresh, spicy scent with smooth subtle undertones. Middle notes of lavender and beeswax forms the heart of the scent, blending easily with the top notes to prevent the spices from becoming harshly dominate. The base helps to carry the upper notes as they fade, maintaining a touch of the spicy opening for hours.

Very very smooth mature natural fragrance that blends well with your natural scent. Very similar to La Nuit De'Lomme but a bit more manly and better blended. This can easily be a signature scent. For the price you cannot go wrong. I will ordering two more back-up bottles before it becomes discontinued and/or change the composition and more importantly the price goes up. You can blind buy this without any regrets. This stuff smells three times better than its price.

WHAT AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE TRYING THIS FRAGRANCE OUT. I AM VERY CAREFUL WEARING FRAGRANCE BECAUSE YOUR BODY CHEMISTRY MATTERS, HOWEVER ONE TRY SOLD ME FOR LIFE ON AVANTE GARDE . HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR A ROMANTIC EVENING.
