I'm not a fragrance person but I picked a partially used bottle of this up at an estate sale and fell in love its divine

I started to get into fragrance collecting during COVID lockdowns and as a retirement hobby. I had never sampled Jean Patou fragrances before and then I heard that this house was closing its doors forever and that they used a lot of natural ingredients in their fragrances. I ordered samples of Joy, Sublime, and 1000. I instantly fell in love with Sublime and Joy and am so heartbroken that I didn't know how beautiful these fragrances were because I could've been wearing them for years. This is a beautiful fragrance that is very subtle yet seductive. The opening is very woody but in a feminine way, the middle of the fragrance is beautiful abstract, sweet powdery florals and the dry down is a sweet, ylang, vanilla, sandalwood and orange powder that lasts on the skin and clothes. This is gorgeous stuff and it is a shame it is no longer in production. If you like vintage style fragrances this one is for you.

This is nice. At first spray smells like bathroom cleaner but dry down. This gets lighter prettier defiantly smell some vanilla and amber. Very powdery on me. Very faint. Pretty but not sure it’s for me and my chemistry.
