This Vetiver is balanced, not too smokey but still deep and recognizable as Vetiver. It is probably the best on the market. I wear it and I am a girly woman. It is addictive and really sexy without being too "oriental". Its just great on a man. Never muddy or sneezy.

This scent is addictive. It's the only scent I purchase for my husband, since I want to smell it every day.

I discovered Vetiver when I was 18 and have been using it since 1960. Its aroma has become associated with me. Although I find it difficult to find, I still enjoy the fragrance and seek it out to keep in my home. It is the only cologne I use.

I wear Guerlain's Vetiver as my daily scent. Housework, shopping, traveling, outdoor entertaining. It is clean, but exotic; dry, sharp but mellow. I am female and find it more elegant than common women's sport fragrances.

I agree with the assessment that this is a classic scent. No grown man who appreciates the nuiances of fragrance should be without Vetiver. And only
Guerlain does it correctly. Trust me. And it is entirely pleasant in any season as well.

I used to wear Vetiver by Thymes Limited, but they dicontinued the line. This is dead on the exact same scent. I always get compliments when I wear this, it is an unusual scent for a woman to wear, very earthy. Men love it.

I love Vetiver and wear it during the hot summer months. It is very masculine and, like the other reviewer, it reminds me of Paris. I have traveled every corner of the world, but for some reason it makes me think of a certain street corner in Neuilly near the American Hospital. Who can say why?
