PAVLOVA
perfume by Payot
I first became acquainted with this beautiful fragrance when I was taking ballet classes in highschool and college. I liked the original Payot Pavlova better than the current one because it had more staying power and was a little richer, although I love the pretty ballerina-capped floral bottle of the current fragrance. If only the dusting powder was still available!
I always felt like an "oddball" because I never cared much for perfumes, until one day in my early 30's I was stopped dead in my tracks in the perfume/cosmetics section of a department store by a scent that just did something to me that to this day I cannot explain. It evoked some kind of memory somehow, it seemed so familiar yet I could never quite place it. It reminded me of love, comfort, peace, contentment. I don't know - perhaps there is an ingrediant in it that I had previously smelled as a child and associated with nice feelings. I just love it. Every time I wear/smell it, I just get "lost" in the fragrance and feel that I have never smelled more beautiful and never will - my search is over. Now 51 & have never found another

The sent is between floral and woods. I love the 1920's and the packaging. The pick flowers are beautiful.
I have loved this fragrance for many years.I never thought I would locate it again. I can't wait to order it. Please keep a good supply available.

This scent was the first one I bought for myself back in 1984. It is classic, a scent that is timeless.

I received Pavlova as a gift back in the early 80's and am still a fan. It's very youthful fragrance puts me in a happy mood.

I first smelled this perfume on a lady 40 years ago. I loved it then and my wife has worn this for me ever since. I have bought six bottles at a time when I could find it so she would never run out. My number one choice in how a women should smell.

I have worn this scent since 1977 when I needed a new scent for my "new life" I have not been able to find another that I like as well. I love to layer my scent and am so disappointed that I can no longer get the soap and powder as well as the cologne and shower gel. I wear this at all times and am constantly being complimented on how good I smell. My children love my smell and tell me of the fond memories the scent brings.

Like the great Russian ballerina, Anna Pavlova, this perfume is incomparable! I used it in the 1970's, and I'm so happy to find it again!

I purchased the Pavlova Body Creme about 7 years ago during the Christmas holidays to give as a gif. I opened it and fell in love with the fragrance! I kept the "gift" for myself.
Unfortunately I have not been able to find this product in my area since. I love the body cremes because it gives a more subtle fragrance. Would layer with powder if it were also available.i

This is NOT the original Pavlova. However, the signature tuberose comes through nicely. It really does embody the beautiful sensuality of the ballet, and the bottle is great for collectors; Anna Pavlova as the Dying Swan from Swan Lake as the cap is so very feminine. A good choice for anyone romantic in nature.
