Emeraude Cologne: the scent I associate with good memories of my grandmother. She said she started wearing it when it first came out and people would stop her and ask what she was wearing that smelled so good. So naturally, loving and admiring my grandmother, I wanted to wear her cologne, and as a teenager in the later 70's, I asked for a bottle of it for Christmas. Got my Emeraude and loved it and so did my friends. Time went by, I have worn so many more fragrances and still do, from drug store buys to some of the most expensive, but certain times of the year, especially around Christmas, I find myself picking out my Emeraude to spritz on after I get dressed to go somewhere. It always smells sweet without being cloying, along with clean and crisp. The name is perfect for it: it smells "green" and I mean that in a good way. I wish so much that they would make a body wash in that scent, and also bring back the scented candles. Those were the best candles ever! The scent lasted for years even if you didn't burn them. I have the dusting powder as well as the cologne. It always makes me think of my grandmother.
