Over a successful movie career that has spanned several decades and continents, Spanish-born actor Antonio Banderas has become an international symbol of romantic charm and sexy good looks. In the 1980s he worked frequently with director Pedro Almodóvar in films like Matador and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. He then crossed over into English-language movies, gaining a role in The Mambo Kings in 1992.
