Bambou evokes the clean, dreamy feel of a forest after a rainfall. Weil Paris introduced this pure and sparkling women's fragrance in 1991. The perfume blends earthy, woodsy elements with an unexpected ethereal touch that makes it ideal for casual use. Against the sensual base notes of vetiver, sandalwood, and oak moss, the middle notes of rose and ylang-ylang are softer and more feminine. The top note of mandarin orange adds a fresh, crisp feel.

Weil creats good, well put together perfumes and with good longevity. Although the composition of Bambou is well made and the first spray is promising, this scent is short lived and without sillage. The eau de parfum as equivalent to a cologne, as I can state after several uses. It is appropriate for office wear and requires repeated application , almost every hour, to refresh the scent.

Bambou: a light and delightful green floral that has the stems of the flowers crushed as well; very refreshing; classy, unique; never offensive or heavy

I like perfumes which are like melody. This is one of them. It reminds me on my student days when I was younger and in love.It smells like wet, green, sunbathed wood in spring.
