Elite Parfums was established in 2006 as a collaboration between renowned talent agency Elite Model Management and the prestigious French fragrance company Jeanne Arthes Parfums. Since its launch, the company has joined forces with some of the most notable noses in the industry, including Richard Herpin, Henri Bergia, Marie Salamagne, Emilie Coppermann, Vincent Schaller and Christophe Raynaud, to create a line of chic, glamorous scents for the modern woman.

Working with Herpin, Elite launched its first fragrance, Elite Model Attitude, in 2006. A partner fragrance for men, Elite Attitude pour Homme, was also introduced that same year. Limited editions of these two fragrances were released in 2007 — Elite Gold for women and Elite Silver for men.

Miss Elite, a scent geared towards a younger demographic, was added to the company's repertoire in April 2008. A follow-up fragrance, Miss Elite Model in Love was released in September of the following year.

In 2011, Elite partnered with American beauty products manufacturer Coty, creating a new line of fragrances to be released in conjunction with the Elite Model Look contest. This line of four fragrances was released in 2012 and designed to reflect the spirits of the biggest fashion capitals in the world. Each fragrance was created with the help of a different nose: London Queen was created by Marie Salamagne, New York Muse by Emilie Coppermann, Paris Baby by Vincent Schaller and Rio Glam Girl by Christophe Raynaud.
