The melon note is unexpected, similar to chamoe melon. The melon is paired with spicy carnation. The overall experience is similar to Rochas Femme or Mitsouko.

I'd asked a friend who was visiting France to meet her fiance's family to bring me a bottle of Diorissimo. She misunderstood and brought Diorella instead. I instantly adored its crisp, modern scent, which was floral, citrus and herbal together. It was an elegant & sophisticated scent, the first perfume I chose for myself, & brought many compliments. It was my signature scent for many years, until I couldn't find it anymore. I still have a tiny amount of it from that era Ithat I wear only on special days. I was so happy they reintroduced it, just a bit different from the original. I will always keep Diorella, though I now wear a variety of perfumes. It reminds me of happy years as a young career woman, and is still a true classic.

I have incredible fondness for this light, floral scent. I wore it as my first perfume ever in the 80s and although once I started work, I switched to Fahrenheit, this lovely fragrance is a true classic. I get compliments whenever I wear it.
