While often categorized by its sweetness, Frenetic Delicieuse is, at its core, an aromatic-amber fragrance. It opens with lavender and cool mint, providing an herbal edge that feels refined and bracing. This freshness transitions into a lovely slightly sweet cherry note that avoids the "syrup" trap, instead it acts as a bridge to a soft leather accord that follows. But, the true character of the scent is in the dry down. Rather than a simple candy-sweet finish which lovers of gourmand are drawn to, the sandalwood and tonka provide a dense, milky woodiness that feels structural and smooth. The beautiful vanilla and amber soften the edges of the leather and woods, creating a warm, skin-hugging resonance that feels more like a luxury interior or a fine cherry tobacco filled humidor rather than a bakery.
